Join National Museum of Natural History Through Various Vacancies

National Museum of Natural History is inviting applications from individuals to fill the following positions:

1. Office Superintendant (3 Posts): Officers of the Central Government or State Government or Union Territories or Recognised Research Institutions or Universities of Public Sector Undertakings or Semi-Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organisations: holding analogous posts on regular basis; or with six years’ regular service in posts in Level 5 in the pay matrix; or with ten years’ regular service in posts in level 4 in the pay matrix; And (b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:- Degree of a recognised University / Institute. Three years’ experience in accounts, administration, establishment work in the Central Government or State Governments or Union territories or Recognised Research Institutions or Universities or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi-Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organisations.
2. Staff Car Driver: Essential: Must possess a valid Driving Licence for motor car/LMV. Experience of driving Motor Vehicles for at least 3 years. Knowledge of motor mechanism (The candidate should be able to remove minor defects in vehicles). Desirable: A pass in 10 standard. 3 year’s service as Home Guard / Civil Volunteer.
3. Artist: Diploma in Painting or Commercial Art or Fine Art or Applied Art from a recognized University or Institution; (ii) Two years’ experience in painting foregrounds, backgrounds, making charts, maps, lettering etc
4. Preparatory Assistant (Display): (i) Matriculation or I.T.I. course in Painting (General) from a recognized vocational Institution; (ii) Three years’ experience in exhibition/display in a Museum or Institution.
5. Cashier: Officers of the Central Government: (a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis; or (11) with eight years’ regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Level 2 in the Pay Matrix viz. Rs. 19900-63200 or equivalent in the present cadre or Department. And (b) Possessing 12 class or equivalent from a recognised Board or University and having either undergone Cash and Accounts Training in the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management or having three years’ experience of Cash and Accounts work in Government Office.
