Join Department of Water Resources, River Development, and Ganga Rejuvenation

Department of Water Resources, River Development, and Ganga Rejuvenation is inviting applications from individuals for the following positions:

1. Director (Technical): Officers from the Central/State Govt./Public Sector Undertaking/Semi Government/Statutory/Autonomous Organizations/Engineering Universities/Research and Development Organizations, a) () holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department, or (i) with 5 (five) years of regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the Level-12 (Rs.78800 – 209200/-) of the Pay Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre/department and (i) possessing a Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent, and (in) possessing at least 5 (five) years of experience in the field of irrigation and water utilization and/ or experience in surveys, investigations, designs preparation of irrigation projects, construction, operation and maintenance of irrigation projects/works.
2. Director (MDU): Officers from the Central/State Govt./Public Sector | Undertaking/Semi Government/Statutory/Autonomous Organizations/Engineering Universities/Research and Development Organizations, a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department, or (üi) with 5 (five) years of regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the Level-11 (Rs.67700 – 208700/-) of the Pay Matrix or equivalent, and b) Possessing a Degree in Civil Engineering/ Master’s degree in Maths / Computer / Physics / Statics with specialization in Hydrology / post graduate in Hydrology / Water Resources or equivalent from a recognized university or equivalent.
3. Superintending Engineer: officers from the Central/State Govt./Public Sector Undertaking/Semi Government/Statutory/Autonomous Organizations/Engineering Universities/Research and Development Organizations, a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department, or (üi) with 5 (five) years of regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the Level-11 (Rs.67700 – 208700/-) of the Pay Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre/department, or b) (1) possessing a Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institute University or equivalent. (il) possessing at least 5 (five) years of experience in applied research in the field of irrigation and water utilization and/ or in surveys, investigations, designs, construction, operation and maintenance of irrigation projects/works
4. Deputy Director/ Executive Engineer: officers from the Central/State Govt./Public Sector | Undertaking/Semi Government/Statutory/Autonomous Organizations/Engineering Universities/Research and Development Organizations, a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department, or (il) with 5 (five) years of regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the Level-10 (Rs.56100 – 177500/-) of the Pay | Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre/department, and b) possessing a Dipioma/Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized Institute or equivalent, (il) possessing at least 5 (five) years of experience in applied research in the field of irrigation and water utilization and or in surveys, investigations. | designs, construction. operation and maintenance o irrigation projects/works
