Angul Forest Division, Odisha Recruiting Under Various Vacancies

District of Angul, Odisha requires individuals to fill the following positions in Angul Forest Division through walk-in interviews from 26.06.2023 to 18.07.2023:

1. Veterinary Officer: B.V.Sc & A.H. Fresh Veterinarian/ Retired Veterinarian will be engaged directly by the concerned DFO.
2. Livestock Assistant: 12^th standard with vocational training/Trained Livestock Inspectors. Retired Para Vets./ Educated Unemployed Youth with desired qualification having vocational training on animal husbandry will be engaged.
3. Attendants: 10^th Retired attendants/ Peons of Animal Husbandry Department and forest Department will be engaged.

Area of Operation: In view of unusual morbidity and mortality of wild elephants, increase in cases of man-animal conflict, protection and conservation of wild elephants in reserve areas as well as vulnerability of the wild animals to various anthropogenic factors, there iS an urgent need for induction of Mobile Veterinary Units (MVUs) at prioritized places in order to provide wildlife health care and disease control services on priority basis. The MVU will render the disease surveillance and other related disease control activities in Angul Circle area. In case of emergency requirement of MVU in other adjacent/nearby Forest Division, the services of available MVU may be tapped for judicious and efficacious use of existing department resources. Although the MVU will be managed by the DFO of the concerned division but its emergency deployment in neighboring division within the circle will made solely by the concerned RCCF.
