Job Notifications From National Museum of Natural History

National Museum of Natural History is inviting applications from individuals for the following positions:

1. Artist at Gangtok, Sikkim (with all India liability for transfer): (i) Diploma in Painting or Commercial Art or Fine Art or Applied Art from a recognized University or Institution: and (1) Two years experience in painting foregrounds, backgrounds, making charts, maps, lettering etc. Basic knowledge of computer.
2. Modeller / Exhibit Preparator, Mysore Karnataka (with all India liability for transfer): 1) Diploma in Modelling or Sculpture from a recognized institution: and 2) Two years experience in Exhibit Preparation including Preparation of Models or casts pre in recognized museum or Institution. Experience in preparation of scale and Models. Experience in Preparation of Dioramas. Knowledge of Computer.
3. Projectionist, Gangtok, Sikkim (with all India liability for transfer): 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University; Cinema operators Licence or Certificate from a recognized Institution or Government Organisation to operate cinematographic machines in 35mm, l6mm and Digital Multimedia Projectors: and Three years experience of handling all types of projectors mentioned above the films, audios, visuals etc Knowledge of operation followed by multimedia digital projectors and undertake repairs protection equipments
4. Carpenter, Bhubaneswar, Odisha (with all India liability for transfer): (i) Matriculation or equivalent pass from a recognised Board. Certificate in Carpentry trade from a recognised technical institute; and Two years’ experience in making cabinets and other general carpentry work. Knowledge preparing estimate of work.
