3 Research Associate Opportunities at Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education, Dehradun

The following positions at the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education, Dehradun, are open for applications:

1. Research Associate- Remote Sensing and GIS-01: Doctorate degree or having 3 year research/teaching experience in RS-GIS-related subjects after Post graduation (first class) in Geoinformatics or related subjects/Forestry/Environmental Science/Environment Management from a recognized University/Institute. Desirable: Proven record of proficiency in using RS-GIS tools, satellite image processing, use of ERDAS, ArcGIS or QGIS, Mapping of land use and land degradation
2. Research Associate- Land Resources-01: Doctorate degree or having 3 year research/teaching experience after Post graduation (first class) in Soil Science/Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry/Natural Resource Management/ Forestry/Environmental Science/Environment Management from a recognized University
3. Research Associate- Social Science (Gender Studies)-01: Doctorate degree or having 3 year research/teaching experience after Post graduation (first class) in Social Science/Agricultural Economics/ Agricultural Extension/Agricultural Statistics from a recognized University/ Institute.

Terms and Conditions: 1. Only Indian Nationals are eligible. 2. The positions are purely temporary. The services of the selected candidates shall stand terminated automatically on completion of the engagement period and the candidate shall not have any claim and right for regular appointment under ICFRE and its Institutes or any further contractual engagements under ICFRE and its Institutes. 3. Recruitment for the advertised temporary positions is governed by the rules and regulations of the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE). 4. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. 5. ICFRE reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason. 6. The date and time of the interview will be intimated to the eligible and shortlisted candidates through email one week before the interview.
